The Vice President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association, Alh. Abubakar Maigandi, recently felicitated with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami SAN, on the occasion of his award bestowed on him on Saturday July 10th at the Sheraton Hotels in Abuja. The press release made available by the Vice President of IPMAN to newsmen on Sunday reads;
As the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, you have consistently been at the forefront of rule of law in Nigeria.
It is on record that the Nigerian Justice Sector which was obviously not immune from the effects of the pandemic, resulting in a nationwide closure of court rooms (save for certain exceptions), got a paradigm-shift from your esteemed office occasioning in the adjustment of the judicial process to make for recovery of lost grounds occasioned by the lockdown.
You have also successfully led the prosecution of suspected international fraudsters, corrupt individuals, and terrorists at different levels of the judicial ladder, and recording tremendous breakthrough in securing different convictions across Nigeria’s courts.
Your foresight in providing solutions to issues of National security and prominence are unmatched, hence the award bestowed on you at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja on the 10th of July 2021.
It is in the light of this sublime award, that I, Alh. Abubakar Maigandi, Jakadan Gwandu, Vice President of IPMAN, write to formally congratulate you on this newest and rare milestone, in your long line of dynamic accomplishments.
