ABIA NORTH ELECTORATES ARE WISER THAN YOU THINK
My attention has been drawn to a recent publication about your clarion call on the people of Abia North Senatorial District to mobilize for massive registration in the 2025 Voters Registration Exercise starting on 18th August. In as much as there’s nothing wrong in calling on people to go and register and get their PVCs, but hiding under the support for Governor Alex C.Otti’s re-election in 2027 to covet the exulted Abia North Senatorial Seat, is not just a tall dream but a mischievous, dubious and inordinate ambition that must be checked and resisted by the politically informed voters of Abia North. I make bold to tell you,Mr.Bourdex, that such slothful move is dead on arrival.
What were you actually thinking? Maybe you think that Abia North electorates are those ignoramus you can blatantly deceive. I don’t believe such deceit could ever succeed in Abia North in this time and age of quick access to information.
Chief Ogba Onuoha, with all due respect, you cannot deceive Nde Abia North to leave the best and choose the worst, neither can you change the fact that you are a total failure politically due to your selfishness, pomposity, class discrimination and tendency to mortgage the future of Abia North for your personal gratification. Let me tell you, we all are not fools. Abia North voters are smarter than you!
Nde Abia North are enjoying quality representation with a performing senator in Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and the best they can do in 2027 is to re-elect him to further bring more dividends of democracy to Abia North, because the reward for good work is more work.
It will be difficult for any rational electorate in Abia North to compare OUK with Bourdex whose tenure as the Mayor (Chairman) of Ohafia LGA recorded abyssal performance without any tangible project, except in trying to maintain a paradox. When you miss-used the opportunity given to you by Governor Alex Otti in Ohafia LGA by non-performance, is it the people of Bende LGA, Arochukwu LGA, Isuikwuato LGA and Umunneochi LGA that will risk their future in your hands come 2027? Impossible!
Nde Abia North recognize and celebrate performance and not failure. Nde Abia North will not choose a mediocre over a performing, experienced and senior Ranking Senator whose wealth of experience, connections and rank in the Senate will attract more developmental fortunes to the zone. Nde Abia North will not leave Senator Orji Uzor Kalu who is humane, accessible, benevolent, generous, accommodating and understanding to go for you, Chief Ogba Onuoha who is known for treating people with disdain ~ always maintaining social distancing to people on the basis of their poor financial status; and whose resentment and outburst to people leave more to be desired.
It amounts to stating the obvious that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s unprecedented developmental strides across the five LGAs in Abia North will speak for him in 2027. OUK has redefined representation by prioritizing investment in critical sectors: basic infrastructures, and sustainable human capital development over token handouts and palliatives in the name of empowerment. OUK is an empowerment specialist who has raised millionaires in virtually every community in all the five LGAs of Abia North. He has secured federal jobs for our youths. He has empowered many youths and women from Abia North to learn skills and be established, not just to be useful to their families, but to become employers of labour.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has secured appointments into Federal Boards and Agencies for people from Abia North and beyond, such that people of other Senatorial Districts in Abia are praying to have a senator like Orji Uzor Kalu who always think home by constructing rural roads, distributing transformers and solar powered street lights for rural electrification; provision and renovation of healthcare facilities; renovation of schools and encouraging farmers by distribution of farm implements and fertilizers. OUK’s record is simply, unbearable!
Chief Ogba Onuoha,if you think you will ride on the back of Governor Alex Otti to clinch the seat of Abia North Senatorial Districts in 2027, you are daydreaming,as Abia North Voters are wiser and smarter than you. I know you may hate me for telling you the bitter truth, but I’m not perturbed, because the truth must be told no matter whose ox is gored.
